Being a Christian

Some people think that Christianity is a ticket into an easy life.

Actually, it's quite the opposite.

Being a Christian, we will definitely face hardships, persecution, and trials.
Being a Christian, people will make fun of us, mock our faith, and try to get us to believe something different.
Being a Christian, people we thought were our friends will turn their backs on us.
Being a Christian, we will be looked down on.
Being a Christian, we will be laughed at.

In some cases, being a Christian means that you will be killed.

But you know what? It will all be worth it.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says this:

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
